Summary

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator to join a successful business.

You will be working closely with the company accountant and covering all general bookkeeping and admin tasks and working as part of a lively, friendly team.

Key Skills:

• Must be a qualified Bookkeeper
• Strong administrative skills are required
• Excellent customer service / people skills
• IT literate with a working knowledge of Sage 50 accounts software
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work well to deadlines and multi-task
• A construction industry background or similar is ideal but not essential
• Team player!

The Role:

• Recording day-to-day transactions from purchases and payments
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Processing payroll
• Completing VAT returns
• Reconciling accounts,
• Placing orders and invoicing
• Dealing with general accounts and admin queries
• All general admin tasks

Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm (with an hour for lunch)

Salary:£25,000 pa to £33,000 pa (negotiable) depending on skills and experience
