Summary
Total Social are working with Tameside MBC who are looking for an experienced locum Children's Social Worker for their Cared for Children Service.
We work with care experienced young people up until the age of 18 years when they transfer to our leaving care service.
You will have experience of working with care experienced young people and driving forward care and permanence plans in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
You will be part of a social work team consisting of a team manager, senior practitioner and 7 social workers. You will receive monthly supervision and access to training offered by the local authority.
You will be part of a duty rota on a 4 weekly basis when you are on duty you will be office based
Qualifying candidates require at least three years’ post-qualifying experience in direct / permanent employment of an English local authority in children’s services.
