About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our new 24/7 365 day mental health service in Gleadless and Heeley in Sheffield. Opening in the new year, the non-clinical service provision will deliver mental health services to prevent attendance at A&E, including supporting people who have been discharged from hospital but are not yet ready to go home. Providing leadership to the team who are delivering high quality, safe and effective crisis services in support of the organisation's mission, values and strategy. Ensure the team are responsive to the needs of people in an honest, non-judgemental and open manner which respects the rights of individuals and groups and to support in the mobilisation of new services. We are looking for an experienced mental health crisis manager who is able to manage and support the team. Our services provide high quality, recovery focused support to people who have a range of mental health needs. About you To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced Mental health service manager who along with the Crisis House Manager are able to review and improve services and support business development. You will be an inspiring leader, a good team player, an advocate for good mental health able to work evenings and weekends and occasional nights. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills. experience of systems and data recording, experience of providing support, understanding of complex mental health needs, ability to engage with a range of people, ability to speak to and encourage people who use our services, display exceptional emotional intelligence About us Mental Health Matters are a national charity who provide innovative and life changing mental health support for both individuals and communities.
