Total Social are working with Shropshire Council who are looking for an experienced locum Children's Team Manager Children Looked After Team.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Manager to lead a dedicated Children Looked After (CLA) team in Shropshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an Outstanding Local Authority committed to delivering high-quality services and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
As Team Manager, you will oversee a team of six Social Workers and one Family Support Worker, managing cases involving children with long-term CLA plans, placements with parents, and Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs). The team is responsible for both care planning and pathway planning, ensuring that each young person receives the support they need to thrive.
Qualifying candidates require at least three years’ post-qualifying experience in direct / permanent employment of an English local authority in children’s services.
