Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity? Sutton Community Academy are looking to appoint an Assistant Head of Year.
We are looking for an Assistant Head of Year to join our team. If you are interested in working with young people and would like to help them as they prepare for their future working lives, we would like to hear from you.
About the role:
Sutton Community Academy are looking to appoint a motivated, independent, and hardworking individual to fill the post of Assistant Head of Year. This is a non-teaching role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proactive interest in education and a desire to support the school in achieving the best possible outcomes for all students.
The purpose of this role is to enable every student to fulfil their potential as individual learners, effective citizens and well-rounded individuals. The Assistant Head of Year will lead a team of tutors and influence all staff, as well as parents/carers and all stake holders, in raising aspiration and improving outcomes for all.
The ideal candidate will have a good basic level of education to GCSE level (to include English and Maths), sufficient ICT skills and have completed relevant courses such as coaching/mentoring/study support and previously worked with young people.
