An independent specialist school in Windlesham, Surrey is looking to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 7–16 with autism and associated learning needs.

We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant who is committed to improving outcomes for young people.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and therapy teams to deliver tailored support and help students develop confidence, independence, and key life skills. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will demonstrate patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Key responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant include:

Supporting pupils with autism and associated learning needs in classroom and specialist environments.


Assisting in delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities.


Providing one-to-one or small-group intervention as directed.


Encouraging emotional regulation, communication, and social development.


Helping create a safe, structured, and nurturing atmosphere.


We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who:

Has experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (preferred but not essential).
