Summary
ValePlus is a day service dedicated to supporting adults with additional learning needs in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The charity operates from locations in Barry and Llantwit Major, and the teaching position will involve working at both sites.
We are looking for a passionate teacher to play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experiences of our students across both sites. We are recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to lead engaging, hands-on educational sessions tailored for adults with additional learning needs.
This role requires a commitment of 3-5 days per week ideally from 9 am - 4 pm. The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) (Formally PTTLS) qualification and bring valuable experience in working with adults with additional learning needs. We seek someone who demonstrates exceptional communication skills. IT skills and a strong awareness of safeguarding practices to ensure a secure and nurturing atmosphere for our learners would be advantageous.
