Bradpole Preschool — Leader/Manager Opportunity
Bradpole Preschool is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Leader/Manager to join our friendly and committed team. We are looking for a passionate early years professional who can inspire staff, support families, and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment for children aged 2–5.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, a deep commitment to Early Childhood Education, and experience working in a preschool or early years setting—ideally with previous leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
As our Preschool Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the setting, including:
Developing educational programmes and policies in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children
Building and maintaining positive, supportive relationships with parents and carers
Ensuring full compliance with all current regulations, policies, Local Authority guidance, and Ofsted requirements
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practice, and staff professional development
Leading on recruitment, training, and management of staff (including termly supervisions, annual appraisals, rota planning, and staffing ratios)
Managing the preschool budget alongside a paid administrative staff member and the committee
Role Details
Hours: Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week), term-time only, paid pro rata
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 pro rata (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: Spring Term (Jan 26, or earlier if possible)
Contract Type: Permanent/fixed-term
