Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with primary-aged children and can build warm, positive relationships in the dining hall and on the playground


• Is proactive – spots what needs doing and is happy to step in to help without being asked


• Is calm, fair and confident in supporting behaviour using our positive behaviour systems


• Is reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a friendly midday team


• Communicates clearly and kindly with both children and adults


• Understands that children have different needs and can offer patient, nurturing support (including pupils with SEND)


• Is willing to undertake training, including safeguarding and first aid, as required

Experience as a Midday Supervisor or in a similar role (school, childcare, playwork, sports clubs or youth work) is desirable but not essential – we are very happy to support the right person to develop in the role.
