Your new role
Our client is seeking a Graduate Capital Modelling Analyst to join their Capital Modelling team. Reporting directly to the Head of Capital, you will play a key role in maintaining and running the internal capital model, supporting critical business processes, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of outputs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of the internal capital model.
  • Collect, test, and validate data for model calibration.
  • Update data and parameters, run the model, and perform sense checks on outputs.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising from model changes and conduct exhaustive testing.
  • Maintain version control and high-quality documentation.
  • Support processes for reinsurance renewal and ORSA reporting.
  • Deliver work within tight deadlines.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science).
  • Minimum grade B in A-Level Mathematics.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Python or R is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational skills and a collaborative team player
