Summary

Specialist Early Years Practitioner (Nursery Assistant) - Permanent Positions

Requirement Detail
Qualification Standard Minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education (e.g., Early Years Educator, CACHE, NVQ).
Sector Experience Proven track record of consistent and sustained experience within a regulated early years setting.
Commitment & Start Date Availability for an Immediate Start (ASAP), contingent upon successful completion of required compliance and vetting protocols.
EYFS Expertise Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge and effective application of the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities & Organisational Impact:

Successful practitioners will be expected to operate with autonomy and contribute substantively to the setting's outcomes:

  • Pedagogical Implementation: Designing and executing structured, research-informed learning opportunities that promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.

  • Observation & Assessment: Utilising professional judgement to conduct accurate observations, record formative assessments, and plan targeted next steps for children's progression.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a professional liaison for key children, delivering insightful feedback to parents/guardians, and upholding organisational communication standards.

  • Environment Stewardship: Ensuring the continuous creation of a safe, stimulating, and regulatory-compliant learning environment.
