Permanent Part Time - 18.50 hours per week

We are looking for an excellent Ward Administrator to join our admin team on The Orchard supporting our Clinical Teams to deliver an excellent service to our patients.

We are inviting applications from individuals with organisation skills, ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team. The successful candidate will be able to communication with staff, service users, visitors and carers in a professional manner. The successful candidate must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft office packages and a good telephone manner.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service to the Inpatient ward within the Mental Health Network, coordinating their activities with other members of the
Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. To carry out these duties the ward clerk will be expected to utilise a range of technical skills, which may include word
processing, use of e-mail and other IT skills as well as using highly developed inter-personal and communication skills.

The post holder will be aligned to a specific team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the Networks administrative service providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their Deputy Admin Lead to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
