Kentmere Academy is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school and work alongside staff to support families. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will compliment teachers’ delivery of the curriculum working in a variety of roles: some supporting individuals or small groups with SEND; delivering and leading interventions and supporting learning of groups within a classroom setting and also ad hoc cover in teacher absence delivering pre planned lessons to the class.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has high expectations of themselves and the team and children they work with.
- Knowledgeable about how children learn across the full primary age range.
- Has experience of working with learners in different key stages.
- Can deliver whole class and group teaching sessions to a high standard.
- Is creative and can produce high quality displays.
- Is able to support SEND learners and adapt to support their needs
- Patient, nurturing and positive, able to build relations built on trust and respect.
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to support colleagues, children and families
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and administration skills
- Able to work in partnership with colleagues, parents and outside agencies to secure the best outcomes for our children and families
