We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Psychology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school and sixth form in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in Years 12 and 13, delivering high-quality lessons and contributing to the success of the A-Level Psychology curriculum.
In addition to teaching Psychology, the successful candidate will provide general classroom cover when required, supporting the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Psychology lessons for post-16 students.
- Write and develop the syllabus to meet curriculum requirements.
- Support students in achieving outstanding outcomes at A-Level.
- Provide general cover across the school when needed.
- Contribute to the school's ethos of high expectations and academic excellence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and experience teaching A-Level.
- Ability to design and implement a robust syllabus.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to provide general cover when required.
