Summary
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HCPC Registered Dietitian to become part of our welcoming Gastroenterology and Surgical Dietetics Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference while working in a supportive environment that values collaboration and professional growth.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of your own clinical caseload across gastroenterology and surgical wards, while also gaining diverse experience in trauma, orthopaedics, and care of the elderly medicine. You’ll be supported to develop specialist skills in gastroenterology, surgery, and enteral feeding, with structured guidance to help you thrive. Alongside your clinical work, you’ll play a key role in multidisciplinary team care and contribute to service improvement projects, shaping the future of dietetic care at Bedford Hospital.
You’ll be a compassionate, proactive and adaptable dietitian with excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll be ready to work independently, but with the support of an experienced team and clinical leads.
Our Practice Development Dietitian will support you by providing a structure induction and ongoing professional development support through tailored education, training, supervision, and mentorship.
There may also be opportunities to rotate within other specialist dietetic teams, such as critical care and medicine, depending on service needs and professional development goals.
