Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly OD/HR team as an OD/HR Business Partner. Whilst this is a full time position applications are welcomed from applicants who may wish to undertake this role on a part-time basis.
The position is a varied and interesting role working closely with Senior Managers by taking the lead and supporting projects that drive culture, workforce capability, change management and workforce planning to improve overall performance through Organisational Design and Development interventions.
Putting “people” at the heart of what we do you will work closely with Senior Managers to deliver the council’s people plan. Through capturing and analysis of HR data to inform and diagnose organisational needs you will lead in the delivery of OD solutions to maximise the best outcome for the council and its workforce.
We are looking for a qualified OD/HR person with experience of organisation design and a solid knowledge of employment law. Experience of planning and influencing organisation change proposals is also required along with experience of effective and professional working relationships with Trade Union colleagues.
