We’re looking for Recycling Project Officers to join our Waste Management team.
In this role, no two days are the same, but What makes this role exciting?
You’ll lead on exciting projects
You’ll engage with residents and businesses throughout the city to educate on all things waste and recycling.
You’ll introduce innovative initiatives to support the Council’s sustainable waste strategy to minimise waste and maximise reduce, reuse and recycle
You’ll be part of the new Simpler Recycling strategy for England and the roll out within the city
You’ll be the go-to person for resolving operational waste management issues quickly and effectively.
You’ll keep our digital resources fresh and accurate
You’ll design and deliver creative waste minimisation campaigns for residents, schools, and businesses, working closely with community and voluntary organisations.
Complaint investigation and resolution by following through with the end-to-end process
