Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established main contractor who are looking to bring in an experienced Estimator to their growing team. The company specialises in projects within the health and education sector and have some incredibly exciting projects in the pipeline for 2026!
For this position, we are looking for somebody with minimum 5+ years experience in an Estimating role for a main contractor.
As an Estimator you will:
- Manage tender process, review tender documents, engage with subcontractors/suppliers and obtain quotes, perform package costing.
- Prepare full bid submissions, cost breakdowns, preliminaries, risk allowances and profit margins.
- Liaise with design, pre-construction and operations teams to ensure buildability, cost control and compliance with the company's standards.
- Perform cost comparisons, value engineering options and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with the companies emphasis on sustainability, health and safety and quality standards, all core values of the business.
