Summary
The Respiratory Physiology department is looking for a committed individual to join an expanding, friendly and high-performing team, as a Band 6 Respiratory Healthcare Science Practitioner/Scientist.
This post is ideally suited for an experienced respiratory physiologist who is wanting to enhance their skills and help in the progression and development of a motivated and evolving department.
You will contribute to the provision of high-quality care when performing lung function, CPET, sleep analysis, oxygen assessment, treatment and supporting the wider MDT.
Continuous professional development is strongly encouraged, and you will have excellent opportunities to develop further your skills and knowledge.

You will act as an autonomous practitioner providing diagnostic services for the trust.Responsible for the day to running of the service.
To perform a range of routine and highly complex diagnostic procedures on adults with a broad spectrum of pathology, in an outpatients environment.
Ensuring data quality by undertaking equipment calibration and quality control for all tests performed within the laboratory.
Provide supervision of junior staff and assist in teaching and mentorship of trainees.
Our department is actively involved in delivering training and supporting the PTP and the STP, you will be required to contribute to this provision.
