We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as a Relief Driver.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Relief Driver will be to provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, while maintaining quality service.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Offers transportation services for residents and assists them with special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, and helping residents enter and exit the vehicle.
- Thorough understanding of the local area, including traffic patterns, to accurately estimate travel times and plan suitable routes to destinations. Resident safety must be prioritised at all times.
- Maintains all community vehicles in good working condition, including cleanliness, fully charged mobile phone, equipment, checking lights and operation of vehicle, first aid supplies, blood spill clean-up kit and other safety equipment or assistive devices (step stool to assist residents onto and off the car)
- Adheres to Highway Code regulations and Avery policies
