Summary

FM Conway is seeking a self-motivated and proactive Plant Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop team, taking responsibility for the maintenance and repair of our extensive and varied fleet of heavy plant machinery. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Dartford, Kent.

The duties of the Plant Fitter role will include:

- Maintaining our large fleet of heavy plant

- Completing paperwork following any maintenance activities

- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on our wide range of plant

- Working safely and compliantly using risk assessments and method statements

- Challenging any unsafe practices

- Problem solving, identifying parts required and rectifying faults

What skills and experience do you need?

To be considered for this Plant Fitter role you must have knowledge of heavy plant including electrical and hydraulic systems. You will have an excellent understanding of the responsibilities that involve working within a workshop environment. You will be IT literate and must have a full UK driving licence.
