About the Role
This is a really interesting role where you will assist in performing internal audit reviews of the Council’s systems and services. This will involve examining and analysing processes, records and data, and assessing and recording the results of this work.
Regular communication with staff in a wide range of other service areas will be required. This includes discussing findings and recommendations for improvement, which you will then document in reports.
About You
We’re primarily looking for Individuals with the right mindset, personality and potential to develop. We are searching for a confident and focused individual who will bring enthusiasm to the role. If you have an analytical mind, are practical and solution focused, and are a good communicator then this role could be for you.
You will be fully supported in developing your career with us, and we will support your study towards the Internal Audit Practitioner Level 4 with a trusted training provider. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity for further progression through our team.
We also offer flexible working arrangements, with a combination of the option to work from home as well as at our offices in Keynsham, Bath, and Weston-super-Mare. Travel to client sites across the South West may also be required from time to time.
