Job Title: Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our well-established and growing team in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, proactive professional who can manage a full residential conveyancing caseload while delivering exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters including:

    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases


    • Re-mortgages


    • Transfers of equity


    • New build purchases


    • Help to Buy and shared ownership schemes



    • Handle transactions from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.


    • Carry out title checks, raise and respond to enquiries, draft legal documents, and manage exchange/completion processes.


    • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and firm-wide procedures.


    • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors in a professional and timely manner.


    • Provide clear, practical legal advice and maintain excellent client communication throughout each matter.


    • Contribute to team development and uphold the firm’s reputation for quality and reliability.


      Requirements
      • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive (CILEx), or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner.


      • A minimum of 2–4 years’ experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload (flexible depending on candidate).


      • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.


      • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.


      • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.


      • Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.


      • Proficiency with case management systems is beneficial.
