The Role

As a Passive Fire Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting passive fire protection surveys, compartmentation inspections, and on-site assessments.


  • Preparing detailed technical reports, recommendations, and compliance documentation.


  • Supporting clients with FRAEW / PAS 9980 assessments where appropriate.


  • Advising contractors and stakeholders on best practice for passive fire measures.


  • Ensuring all work aligns with current British Standards, Building Regulations, and fire safety legislation.


  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.


    About You

    You should have:

    • Experience in passive fire consultancy, fire risk assessment, building surveying, or a related discipline.


    • Strong understanding of compartmentation, fire-stopping, and relevant compliance frameworks.


    • Qualifications such as IFC, BM TRADA, FDIS, IFE (desirable but not essential).


    • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.


    • A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects.


    • A full UK driving licence.
