Summary

The role is part of the Information Compliance Team, responsible for supporting, advising on and monitoring the University’s compliance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation, as well as other relevant laws and regulations.
This team operates within the University Secretary’s Office.
Based at Pontypridd.
The University of South Wales requires an experienced Information Compliance Officer to support the University in its compliance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation and guidance. This busy role requires a dynamic and enthusiastic person capable of delivering a high quality service to meet organisational and personal expectation who can take ownership for their work and use their initiative to deliver.
The University is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. The successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.
