Early Years Practitioners/ Educator - RG9 (Full-Time, Ofsted-Approved Setting)
Are you a caring and motivated Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about giving children the best start in life? Our client’s welcoming nursery in RG9 is seeking a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator to join the growing team.
Childcare Practitioner • Early Years Educator • Safeguarding Focused
✔ RESPONSIBILITIES
✦ Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 3 months – 5 years
✦ Plan and deliver high-quality learning activities following the EYFS framework
✦ Observe, assess, and record each child’s development and milestones
✦ Ensure excellent standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and health & safety
✦ Work closely with parents, children, and colleagues to maintain positive relationships
✦ Support the wider team and contribute to a collaborative and caring working culture
✔ REQUIREMENTS
✦ Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (Ofsted-approved)
✦ Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
✦ Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant nursery policies
✦ Experience planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities
✦ Confident in observing and assessing children’s development
✦ Understanding of nursery health, hygiene, and safety standards
✦ Excellent communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
✔ HOURS
✦ 40 hours per week
✦ Full-time, permanent contract
✔ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
✦ Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all children
✦ Upholding safeguarding policies and reporting concerns promptly
✦ Attending regular safeguarding and child protection training
✔ DBS REQUIREMENT
✦ An Enhanced DBS check is required (the nursery can assist if not already obtained)
