• Participation in the consultant-of-the-week service (1 in 6), providing daytime cover Monday–Friday and weekend ward rounds.

• Delivery of outpatient care across cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis and general respiratory clinics.

However there may be the potential to adapt the job plan to support the successful candidate’s specific subspecialty interests.

Depending on the candidate’s experience, the role may be offered initially as a locum consultant post.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalising your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for paediatric patients presenting with the full range of respiratory conditions.
• Undertake consultant-of-the-week duties on a 1:6 rota, providing weekday daytime cover and weekend ward rounds for respiratory inpatients, including those on PICU and PHDU. • Deliver outpatient clinics in cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis and general paediatric respiratory medicine
• Interpretation and reporting of sleep studies.
• Potential to deliver outreach clinics across our network for children with cystic fibrosis care and long-term ventilation requirements.
• Provide timely specialist advice to other hospitals within the region to support optimal management of children with respiratory needs.
