About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Crisis Service Manager to join our mental health teams across South Yorkshire and Warrington. Initially on a fixed term basis for one year you will support the Area Manager to manage and develop Crisis and Autism/ADHD services in South Yorkshire and Warrington. Providing leadership and management to teams delivering high quality, safe and effective crisis services in support of the organisation's mission, values and strategy. Ensure the team are responsive to the needs of people in an honest, non-judgemental and open manner which respects the rights of individuals and groups and to support in the mobilisation of new services. We are looking for an experienced operations manager who is able to support the team, improve quality and lead on commissioner and partner engagement. Our services provide high quality, recovery focused support to people who have a range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, neuro diversity, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. About you To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced operational manager able to review and improve services, support business development and along with the Area Manager lead mobilisations of new services. You will be an inspiring leader, a good team player, an advocate for good mental health and willing to travel and work across a large area including some evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills. experience of systems and data recording, experience of providing support, understanding of complex mental health needs, ability to engage with a range of people, ability to speak to and encourage people who use our services, display exceptional emotional intelligence About us Mental Health Matters are a national charity who provide innovative and life changing mental health support for both individuals and communities.
