We’re looking for a talented Commercial & Contract Management Lead to join our team. UKSV aim to build a strong Commercial & Contract Management Function and are looking for someone who can manage varied commercial activity portfolio, as well as manage a range of contracts and MoU’s up to Gold classification. The role reports to the Head of People, Finance and Commercial and has one direct report at Higher Executive Officer level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining and managing the commercial activity pipeline, to enable the completion of commercial activity to meet business needs.
  • Lead all UKSV procurement exercises, delivering market engagement, detailed specifications, procurement timelines, undertaking supplier negotiation & implementation of high value complex contracts whilst ensuring value for money.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policy and procedure by owning the relationship with the Cabinet Office Commercial business partner team.
  • Provide effective contract management, including monitoring and evaluating performance and working with suppliers to improve performance.
  • Own and maintain contract management plans, including contractual obligations, risk reporting and management, KPI reviews, and contractual spend monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with Cabinet Office contract management policy and all relevant category spend controls.
