(Commutable from Newark, Bilsthorpe, Coddington, Winthorpe, Farndon, Kelham)

The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations on a busy food production site, managing production teams and Team Leaders to ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily operations on a 4 on 4 off day shift rotation


  • Coordinating workflow with Team Leaders to optimize line performance


  • Shift planning and resource allocation


  • Team management, recruitment, and onboarding


  • Ensuring compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards


  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste


  • Conducting risk assessments and incident investigations


    The Person:

    • Proven experience in a food production environment as a Production Manager or Production Supervisor ready to step up


    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


    • Passionate about sustainability and contributing to a company with strong environmental values


    • Ambitious and motivated to drive performance improvements and operational excellence
