We are seeking a Catering Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our catering operation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of strategic planning, ensuring growth and profitability while delivering exceptional food and service standards.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising meal production within budgetary guidelines, maintaining compliance with client, company, and statutory regulations, and driving innovation to keep the business aligned with current market trends.
Key Responsibilities
Organise and manage all aspects of catering operations to achieve business growth and profitability.
Supervise meal production within budgetary guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain food quality and service standards using modern cooking techniques and trends.
Develop and progress the business in line with high street and industry trends.
Plan, coordinate, and order all food requirements in line with client numbers.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, actively seeking new business opportunities.
Ensure prompt and efficient service of meals to company standards and client satisfaction.
Monitor financial performance, maintain profitability, and ensure use of nominated suppliers.
Oversee HSEQ compliance and manage health and safety standards.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience in hospitality and food production.
Level 3 Food Safety certification.
Professional, clean, and well-presented appearance.
Pleasant and engaging team player with leadership skills.
Strong work history with minimal absence.
Ability to work unsupervised and lead catering operations.
Innovative mindset to introduce new initiatives to clients.
