Summary
We are recruiting motivated, warm individuals for the role of Relief Recovery Support Workers to provide person-centred care and support to people with mental health needs at our Nursing and Residential homes services in Stoke.
Your role will include:
- Providing ad-hoc cover on the rotas to cover instances such as sickness, annual leave, training and vacancies.
- Working with service users in a recovery-focused way in line with their support and risk management plans with a person centred approach, assisting someone to make their breakfast in the morning, go swimming or to a local cafe in the afternoon – or even helping them plan their holidays.
Sometimes it is challenging, but it is always rewarding. You will go to work knowing that you are making a positive difference to someone’s life. You will be working in a team of skilled, dedicated colleagues who will support you all the way. A minimum of twelve months care experience is essential for this role.
