Summary
Interviews to be held on 16/12/2025 The overarching aim of public health services for children (5-19) is to protect and promote the health and wellbeing of children and families. The school nursing service is a workforce of specialist community public health nurses who provide expert advice, support and interventions to families with children and Young People between 5-19 years and help empower young people to make decisions that affect their future health and wellbeing. This service is led by school nurses and supported by a skill mix team. The service is central to delivering public health outcomes for children. The Health Board is committed to supporting its staff to fully embrace the need for bilingualism thereby enhancing patient and service user experiences.
