You are a proactive and highly organised professional with experience in senior administrative support, capable of providing comprehensive assistance to the Leader of the Council and Cabinet Members. You have exceptional communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with discretion and professionalism. You thrive in fast-paced, high-profile environments and are confident handling complex diary management and strategic administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities...
Provide proactive, confidential, and high-quality support to the Leader and Cabinet Members, including diary and email management, meeting arrangements, and handling sensitive queries.
Prepare and circulate agendas, minutes, and papers; take minutes and follow up on action points.
Act as the main point of contact for the Leader, Cabinet Members, Senior Officers, and external partners, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and political sensitivity at all times.
Support onboarding and induction of new councillors providing guidance on civic protocol and governance.
To act as a liaison with the Leader and Cabinet Members to ensure smooth collaboration between Members and Officers.
Due to the nature of the role, the postholder may be required to be onsite ahead of some evening meetings to support the Leader and Cabinet Members.
