Summary

Crookesbroom Primary Academy are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal to join our academy in April 2026 on a full time, permanent basis.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and skilled teacher and leader to join our team as Assistant Principal with teaching responsibility. The Assistant Principal will play a key role in continuing to drive standards at Crookesbroom; working closely with the Head of Academy and Executive Principal, the Assistant Principal will form a key part of the leadership of the school, including developing teaching and learning and using data effectively to drive progress.

With 229 pupils aged between 5 and 11, Crookesbroom is a busy and vibrant place. We serve the villages of Hatfield, Stainforth and Dunsville. Your new role

As an Assistant Principal, you will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and you will deputise for the Head of Academy in their absence. You will provide proactive support to the Head of Academy, Executive Principal and AAB members to ensure the leadership and management of the academy operates effectively. Your role will be to lead, firstly as a highly effective classroom practitioner that will model outstanding practice as well as undertaking monitoring of the provision, inclusion and achievement for all pupils.
