Sports Facility Assistant - Full time – (Shift work including early starts, evenings and weekends)

Salary Scale : O&A2 - £25,804

Post Holder: Vacant

Reports To: Sports Facilities Supervisor

JOB CONTEXT

Working as part of the Wrexham University Sport Centre team, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the sports facilities. You will provide a friendly, professional service which delivers a wide range of recreational sporting programmes for students, staff and visitors of the university. The post holder will, provide information and advice when requested and deal with all routine user enquiries accurately and efficiently.

Based in the Sports Centre on the Wrexham University Plas Coch campus you will work to a shift pattern which will include a combination of early starts, weekends and evenings. The Sports Centre opening times are Mon – Fri (0700-2200), Sat & Sun (0900-1800)

Applicants should be enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated, as well as strong team players.

Previous experience of working within the sports or leisure industry is desirable, together with a good knowledge of IT software packages and facility booking systems.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
