Summary
Year 1 Class Teacher - Fixed Term Contract (January to July 2026)
Salary: Up to £42,000 FTE
We are seeking an experienced Year 1 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave from January to July 2026. The Role:
- Year 1 Class Teacher for a small class of 15 pupils (no SEN)
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and the school's ethos of excellence and care
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Fixed term contract: January - July 2026
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - not suitable for ECTs
- Previous UK teaching experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and effective classroom practice
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and support young learners
