Summary
Teaching Assistant Stoke St Gregory C of E Primary School are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our mainstream setting. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils by supporting their learning and development.Key Responsibilities:Support pupils 1:1, in small groups, and within whole-class settings.Assist learners with SEND and complex needs, including personal care when required.Encourage independence and support social, emotional, and mental health needs.Work under the guidance of the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences.Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour.Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes and assist with educational visits.Promote positive behaviour and inclusion in all aspects of school life.What We’re Looking ForEssential:Good general education (GCSE or equivalent), including Maths.Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting.Ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a team.Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office).Desirable:Experience supporting pupils with SEND.Additional relevant qualifications.Personal QualitiesProfessional, punctual, and a positive role model.Commitment to training and continuous professional development.Strong team player with a positive attitude and sense of humour.If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you.
