Summary
Nursery located in W14 0NL, is recruiting for a Wraparound Childcare Practitioner. This role supports children during term-time after-school hours and during full-day holiday periods. It is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a nurturing and engaging childcare environment.
Hours:
Term Time: 3:30pm – 6:30pm (approximately 35 weeks per year)
School Holidays: 7:30am – 6:30pm (approximately 15 weeks per year)
Flexible Option: Term-time hours can be increased for candidates able to work longer days throughout the year, allowing for a more consistent full-year schedule.
Role Overview:
Provide high-quality after-school and holiday childcare
Support children with activities and ensure a safe, stimulating environment
Work closely with the nursery team to maintain strong safeguarding and wellbeing standards
Engage positively with children aged early years and primary school level
Assist with daily routines and supervision during extended-hours care
Requirements:
Experience working with children (nursery, school, or wraparound care)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to create a supportive and engaging environment
Reliability and willingness to work flexible patterns
DBS check and references required
This role includes both after-school care and holiday cover and offers an excellent opportunity to support children’s learning and development in a well-established nursery setting.
