What skills and experience we're looking for
The CEO of SECAT and the Headteacher of Thorpedene Primary School are seeking to appoint two dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team.
Full and Part time roles available on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.
Working with our primary-aged pupils, you will provide essential support to children with special education needs, working in small groups and individual sessions. You will playa key role in promoting independence, ensuring progress, and building positive relationships, helping our pupils to thrive and achieve their best.
We are looking for candidates who have experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a school setting, who are patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child succeed, who can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
It is essential that the appointed applicants have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent at Grade C or 4 and above.
