The Opportunity: Computer Science Teacher (Full-Time)

This is a full-time, permanent (or contract) position that requires immediate impact and growth potential.

What You Will Deliver:

  • Cutting-Edge Instruction: Design and deliver engaging, practical lessons from Year 7 to Year 13 (A-Level), focusing on real-world applications of Computer Science.

  • Diverse Programming Portfolio: Teach languages like Python, JavaScript, and C++, focusing on practical skills in web development, data analysis, and robotics/physical computing.

  • Conceptual Depth: Guide students through advanced topics like theoretical computation, cybersecurity principles, and network architecture at the GCSE and A-Level level.

  • Digital Citizenship: Champion the responsible and ethical use of technology within the school community.

  • Innovation: Drive the use of new educational technologies and teaching methodologies to keep the department at the forefront of STEM education.

Your Profile:

  • Mandatory: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Technically Proficient: Demonstrable and deep knowledge of current Computer Science curricula and industry trends.

  • Results-Driven: A proven history of achieving excellent student outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level.

  • Energy & Drive: The ability to inspire students who may view the subject as challenging, making complex concepts accessible and exciting.
