We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to work in our small and friendly service. We are committed to providing a high quality, accessible health service to children, young people and families, in partnership with other agencies and service providers.

In return, the post offers a friendly and supportive team with excellent learning and development opportunities and a stimulating working environment.

As a school staff nurse, you will be managing a caseload of primary schools providing agreed elements of the Healthy Child Programme. You will deliver interventions to support children and families with specific health concerns as well as making referrals to other services. You will also support children and families with additional vulnerabilities such as with safeguarding concerns.

We are the main provider of NHS community services across East and West Sussex, with 6,000 staff serving 1.3 million people. We deliver essential care to adults and children, helping them manage their health, avoid hospital admissions, and reduce hospital stays.

We embrace diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds, particularly from ethnically diverse, disabled, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. We aim to create an inclusive environment and support reasonable adjustments during recruitment.
