St. Catherine's is a Roman Catholic Primary School which is situated in the Gracemount area of Edinburgh. Built in 1966, the school serves a catchment area which is fairly wide and comprises a social mix, attracting families of many faiths and of none. Our school population is made up of a healthy and diverse mix of children from Scottish, Eastern European, Asian and African families.
We are a Parish and Learning Community where stakeholders play a significant role in deciding the direction of the school, and in the development of colleagues, by learning from each other. We have an active Parent Council who are very supportive of the experiences we provide to our learners. Our Parent Council constantly work hard to provide fundraising opportunities for both the pupils and our families to take part in.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working, flexible individual with a positive manner to teach our Primary 5 class. This post will be line managed by the Head Teacher and will be supported members of the Senior Management Team.
