We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Research Nurse to join the Women’s Health Research Team at UCLH. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience and interest in women’s health (obstetrics and gynaecology), and welcome applications from experienced Research Midwives with a background or interest in gynaecology research.

This post holder will play a pivotal role in delivering the EASY-CARE trial, a multi-centre, prospective interventional cohort study evaluating the performance of the WID®-easy test a novel molecular diagnostic for detecting endometrial (womb) cancer in peri- and post-menopausal women with abnormal uterine bleeding. Developed by researchers at UCL in collaboration with and the University of Innsbruck , the WID®-easy test has shown superior performance to transvaginal ultrasound and has the potential to transform the diagnostic pathway for women, streamlining referrals and reducing invasive investigations.

The post holder will lead on the delivery of the EASY-CARE trial at UCLH, working closely with the Chief Investigator , The Research Fellow and the Trial team to ensure high-quality research delivery in line with study timelines, regulatory requirements, and good clinical practice. Responsibilities include coordinating participant recruitment, scheduling study visits, maintaining accurate documentation ensuring data integrity. SAE reporting, sample collection and The post holder will also provide day-to-day leadership and support to junior members of the research team.



This is a 12-month fixed-term post, with the potential for extension subject to funding and study milestones
