Summary
Outreach Customer Service Administrator
Location: KIMS Hospital, Newnham Court Way, Weavering, Maidstone, ME14 5FT + Outreach Clinics (Faversham, Charing, Longfield, Wye, Kingsnorth, Whitstable)
Hours: 20 Hours per week - Shifts between 06:30-20:30 (Mon-Fri) and 07:00-20:00 (Sat-Sun)

The Role
As an Outreach Customer Service Administrator, you'll be the welcoming face and calming voice of KIMS Hospital across both our main site and multiple Outreach Clinics. From supporting consultants and patients to ensuring clinics run smoothly, you will play a vital part in delivering healthcare at its best.
This is a varied, people-focused role where you'll be empowered to go above and beyond to create a memorable experience for every patient you meet.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional front-of-house service across Outreach Clinics, Main Reception, OPD, the Call Centre and other departments, ensuring every patient and visitor receives a warm, professional welcome.
- Coordinate patient appointments and medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and efficient communication between teams.
- Work closely with consultants and liaison teams to support clinic operations across all Outreach sites.
- Handle patient queries and high-volume phone calls with confidence, clarity and compassion.
- Provide flexible administrative support, stepping into different reception and admin areas as needed to maintain seamless service.
Who we are looking for:
Essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritise, stay organised and remain calm under pressure.
- Previous administrative experience and confidence working both independently and as part of a busy team.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn internal systems quickly.
Desirable
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- A secretarial qualification or knowledge of medical terminology.
