Summary
Are you passionate about science and education? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a love for hands-on experiments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become an integral part of our collaborative and successful Science Department.
You will be required to help in preparing and delivering teacher orders for practical science lessons covering Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Experience would be an advantage, but training will be given.
As a small secondary school in the area, we have built a unique sense of community based on our Christian values. This a place where everyone – students and staff alike – look out for everyone else.
One of our greatest strengths is our exceptionally rich extracurricular programme, including the Greenpower racing team and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In short, we do whatever it takes to realise our pupils’ potential and we’re confident we’ll soon capture your imagination.
Being part of the Enlighten Learning Trust, allows for unique opportunities to share best practices and pioneer innovative approaches to learning. Add in a welcoming and supportive environment and an exceptionally supportive Head who loves to collaborate, and you have all the ingredients for a challenging, stimulating and rewarding future.
You can also expect some outstanding facilities and opportunities, access to an indoor swimming pool, and the chance to participate in overseas excursions including ski trips. What’s more, you’ll be based in elegant Dorking in the heart of the beautiful Surrey hills, with excellent travel connections and easy access to London.
If you are excited by an opportunity to make a difference and join a school that is on a journey of rapid improvement with the challenge and learning that brings, then we would love to meet and welcome you to our team.
