Summary
Maendy Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant needs to be flexible and continually prepared to work in Phase 1 and 2, with the main placement being in Year 2. They should be reliable, resilient and flexible and work well as part of a team.
Maendy Primary is at the heart of the Community. The school has an ALN Resource Base, a BESD provision and, a part time Nursery. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at a very exciting time as we have recently moved to our new school building in the Summer term. This new development has provided us with the opportunity to expand one-form to a two-form entry with our pupil numbers expected to increase accordingly.
Candidates will be expected to:
Work under the guidance of teaching staff and/or members of the school leadership team.
To support individuals and groups of pupils to enable access to learning.
To assist the teacher with the management of pupils in the classroom and beyond.
To cover/supervise the whole class when needed.
In return the school will offer opportunities for ongoing training, professional development, and the support of a welcoming and nurturing team.
