Summary
The postholder will directly line manage a team of Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Co-Ordinators/ Validators/ Trackers and Cancer Referral office (CRO) administrators and Cancer Psychological supports (CAPS) admin and any other as delegated by the service. The primary responsibility of the postholder will be to provide direct leadership and support to the cancer admin team in, organising and managing the members of staff, including providing support in the case of leave and ensuring that multi-disciplinary teams (MDMs) are run to a consistently high quality. In addition, the post holder will support with the delivery of both National and Local targets, managing and coordinating the work of the MDT Admin team in terms of their contribution and provide management support for the Service Manager, Lead Cancer Nurse and Clinical Director.
