Summary
Activate Learning is looking for an HR Services Adviser to join our collaborative HR Services team in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting essential HR processes that underpin our staff journey.Working within a busy front-line HR Services team, you’ll deliver a professional, high-quality, and customer-focused service. Your responsibilities will include, managing every aspect of the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring onboarding of all new staff meets legal requirements and adheres to safer recruitment practices and recruitment policies and procedures. Manage the HR Service Desk, on a rota basis, ensuring that all requests are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.In addition, you will respond promptly to HR queries, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to process improvements that enhance team efficiency. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.This is a fixed-term, full-time role (37 hours per week), offering a hybrid working model with flexibility based at our Oxford College. This is a maternity cover position until January 2027.What do you need to be successful as an HR Services Adviser at Activate Learning?Previous experience in an HR role (HR Administrator or HR Assistant).Understanding of HR processes such as onboarding, Right to Work, and references.Experience using HR systems (HRIS and ATS); knowledge of iTrent is an advantage.Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Teams.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to process large volumes of work accurately.Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise under pressure.A proactive, ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to support team goals.Who we are:Activate Learning is a pioneering education group with a global reach, committed to transforming lives through our approach to learning.We see our employees as individuals, empowering them to make the right choices for their ambitions and careers.
