Do you have a passion for caring and making a difference to vulnerable people in our community? If so, you will be responsible for the line management of the Telecare responders and the day to day organisation and delivery of emergency/ urgent support to customers of the Telecare service. As care at home services are provided over 7 days per week, the post holder will participate in a rota that includes evenings and weekends.
You will be responsible for the quality of service delivered by your Telecare responders, ensuring that service users receive high quality care and support, that response visit timeliness standards are achieved and that response visits records are accurately maintained.
You will assist the Technology Enabled Care Manager in the management of the Telecare related activities which will include the monitoring and co-ordination of performance information and supporting the development of the service.
As a key team player within a dynamic and ever changing environment you will demonstrate the ability to work under pressure. You will be flexible and adaptable to change, be compassionate, imaginative, possess integrity and demonstrate the level of professionalism required within the role.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
This post requires Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration. You must currently have registration or eligibility to apply from commencement of employment (you must apply to register within the first 3 months of employment to ensure registration is complete within 6 months of starting in your role).
